	CERCA Appears at IRS Oversight Board Event CERCA appeared before the IRS Oversight Board at the Board's annual public meeting on February 19, 2008. Solly Thomas of IBM represented CERCA. As requested by the Oversight Board, Mr. Thomas spoke on human-resources-related issues in the public and private sector, including how an organization like the IRS can attract talent, develop key employees, and retain these employees. Mr. Thomas is an Associate Partner in the Human Capital Management practice of IBM Global Business Services where he works with Federal Agencies to design and implement human capital strategies. Mr. Thomas was a senior executive at the Office of Personnel Management before coming to IBM.
2007	The CERCA Board of Directors elected a new slate of officers for the year. Gene Goldenberg of CCH was elected Chairman. Ken Treat of H&R Block was elected Vice Chairman. Tim Hubbs of Drake Software was chosen to serve as Secretary. Paul Paeglis of Chase Tax Related Products was designated Treasurer.
